As a Team Leader, you will play a key role in the delivery of a high-quality residential service that prioritizes client-centered care.
 * You will work closely with the Residential Services Manager to ensure the seamless day-to-day management of the service, providing leadership and guidance to staff as needed.
 * Assist in the development and implementation of quality monitoring systems to ensure compliance with HIQA standards and Rehab Care regulations.
Responsibilities:
 * Lead and manage a team of staff to provide person-centered care, ensuring the needs, wishes, and requirements of clients are met.
 * Identify training needs and support staff in their professional development, promoting a culture of continuous learning and growth.
 * Develop and implement quality monitoring systems to drive excellence in service delivery, meeting the requirements of relevant legislation and standards.
 * Ensure adequate staffing levels and participate in rostering processes where necessary.
 * Provide personalized support and assistance to clients in line with individual support plans, promoting independence and autonomy.
 * Maintain accurate records and complete necessary paperwork for communication and accountability purposes, adhering to HIQA standards.
 * Collaborate with the manager to coordinate and plan services effectively, ensuring efficient day-to-day management of the service.
 * Adhere to health and safety protocols, ensuring the safe use and regular maintenance of equipment and appliances used within the residences.
 * Liaise with families, multidisciplinary teams, and other stakeholders as directed by the Centre Manager.
Requirements:
 * A third-level graduate in Health & Social Care or a related field.
 * A management qualification or working towards same is highly desirable.
 * Minimum three years of experience in a similar/related field, preferably in an accommodation-based setting.
 * Experience and knowledge of intellectual disabilities/mental health difficulties and the HIQA process within residential settings are essential.
 * Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and prioritize tasks effectively is crucial.
Compensation:
Salary negotiable depending on experience and qualifications, starting from €44,397.12 to €51,132.17 (pro rata).
