A client of ours, a global biopharmaceutical leader, is seeking a Manufacturing Projects Scientist/Engineer to support the introduction of new products at a state-of-the-art multi-product biologics facility in Dublin.
This role is a key part of the New Product Introduction (NPI) and manufacturing support team, helping to ensure smooth tech transfers, operational readiness, and robust manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support new product introductions, risk assessments, and tech transfer activities.
* Drive process improvements, write impact assessments, and contribute to documentation readiness.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Manufacturing, QA, Engineering, Regulatory, etc.).
* Represent manufacturing interests in meetings and ensure production-readiness.
* Participate in audits, training, and the implementation of new raw materials or consumables.
* Author and review GMP documentation, including batch records and procedures.
* Lead or support change controls, CAPAs, and investigations.
* Promote a “Right-First-Time” culture and continuous improvement mindset.
What You Bring:
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Science, Engineering, or a related field.
* Knowledge of GMP biologics manufacturing processes and equipment.
* Familiarity with systems such as DeltaV, MES Syncade, and SAP.
* Proven ability to work in cross-functional teams, support investigations, and deliver results in a dynamic, regulated environment.
* Strong communication, project management, and problem-solving skills.
* A passion for operational excellence and driving new technologies (e.g., Single-Use Systems).
