Job Profile:
We are seeking a diligent and organized professional to fill the role of Health and Safety Officer.
* The ideal candidate will assist the H&S Manager during audits and inspections of our workplaces.
* Additionally, they will be responsible for assisting with incident investigations.
* Collaboration with senior staff members is also required for attending start-up meetings with site teams.
* Furthermore, we require the selected candidate to participate in other meetings with clients and suppliers as needed.
The key responsibilities of this position include staying up-to-date with relevant legislation and its interpretations, contributing to on-site training initiatives, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Experience and skills required for this role include exposure to construction activities, basic communication and presentation skills, punctuality, organization, and methodical approach. A Construction Certificate or equivalent qualification is highly desirable.
