Who are we:
We are a global FinTech & RegTech success story scaling rapidly across North America, Europe, and Asia. With industry-leading products, deep client trust, and strong commercial momentum, Fenergo is shaping the future of digital client lifecycle management and regulatory transformation.
As we continue to scale, the sophistication of our vendor ecosystem, technology stack, and spend profile has increased substantially. We are now building a next-generation procurement capability - one that is strategic, insight-led, commercially sharp, and tightly aligned to our legal, financial, and operational governance model.
Why this role matters:
A concentrated group of strategic technology, cloud, and professional services vendors now drives a significant portion of Fenergo's cost base. Our ability to negotiate effectively, shape vendor behaviour, and extract long-term value has material impact on EBITDA, operational resilience, and long-term commercial agility.
We are hiring a senior strategic procurement specialist who will:
* Build and own long-term category strategies across our key Software, Cloud, Professional Services, and G&A vendors
* Lead commercial negotiations and influence vendor behaviour
* Partner with the General Counsel to define commercial standards, negotiation positions, fallback strategies, and manage risks
* Leverage deep data and operational insights provided by FP&A/FinOps
* Capture long-term value through cost optimisation, vendor consolidation, and commercial innovation
* Drive vendor value creation for the company
This role will shape the evolution of Fenergo's procurement function, moving it from operational execution to strategic value creation.
Why you should join us:

You will have the mandate to set the bar for how Fenergo engages, negotiates with, and strategically manages its most important suppliers.
What you will do:
* Lead Strategic Procurement & Category Management
* Build and own category strategies for Software, Cloud, Professional Services, and G&A vendors
* Identify consolidation opportunities, leverage, and renegotiation opportunities, and develop a long-term sourcing strategy
* Establish vendor roadmaps that reduce dependency risk and improve commercial leverage
* Drive proactive value-capture across our top 50 vendors
* Own Commercial Strategy & High-Value Negotiations

* Protect Fenergo by ensuring commercial, legal, and financial alignment to standards that you will help to define

* Create a vendor segmentation framework and manage relationships based on strategic importance
* Establish regular structured business reviews with key vendors to track performance, service levels, and value outcomes
