To drive the delivery of excellent clinical standards of care, to maintain a proactive culture and to demonstrate clinical effectiveness and continuous quality improvement.Essential RequirementsQualifications:Are registered, or are eligible for registration, in the General Nurse Division of the Register of Nurses and Midwives maintained by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI) (Bord Altranais agus Cnáimhseachais na hÉireann).andAre educated to Level 8 on the National Framework of Qualifications (NFQ) maintained by Quality & Qualifications of Ireland (QQI) in nursing or related field.AndA post registration management qualification in health or a related field. (This requirement can be satisfied by a stand-alone programme or a completed module. The module may form part of a larger programme of study or be included in the award at (ii) above).Experience:Have 10 years post registration nursing experience consisting of at least three years’ experience nursing in palliative care in the last six years and 5 years nursing management experience.Demonstrate depth and breadth of nursing experience in Palliative Care, as relevant to the post including:Applicants must possess the requisite clinical, leadership, managerial and administrative knowledge and ability for the proper discharge of the duties of the office.Experience of managing and working collaboratively with stakeholdersExperience of leading changeOther:IT skills to include, Word, Excel and PowerPointAbility to present and interpret dataAbility to commute to different sites in a timely and reliable mannerDesirable RequirementsQualifications:A post registration Qualification in Palliative Care or a willingness to undertake same.Experience in quality improvement and clinical governanceOther:Hold a full clean driving licenceInformal enquiries for this recruitment panel advertisement are most welcome.
