Overview of the role.
The Business Post are seeking a results-driven Senior Digital Marketing Executive with strong expertise in email marketing, design, and campaign execution. This is a hands-on role ideal for a digital marketer who is highly proficient with email platforms, design tools like Canva, and scheduling tools for LinkedIn and Meta platforms & CRM systems. You will play a central role in delivering impactful marketing campaigns that support the Business Post's subscription, content and commercial goals.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and execute data-driven email marketing campaigns, with a focus on conversion, retention, and engagement.
* Design and deliver compelling marketing assets using Canva, or equivalent tools, aligned with brand guidelines and campaign objectives.
* Manage campaign scheduling and reporting across LinkedIn, Meta and other key social media platforms using appropriate scheduling and analytics tools.
* Collaborate closely with the Head of Subscriptions & Circulation and senior stakeholders to deliver marketing strategies across the organisation's diverse brands.
* Contribute to the Business Post's e-commerce and digital marketing strategy, including funnel optimisation, subscriber acquisition and loyalty initiatives.
* Leverage CRM systems to segment audiences, personalise content, and track the performance of customer engagement efforts.
* Monitor and analyse campaign data to identify performance drivers, ensuring learnings are applied to future activity for improved ROI.
* Support the execution of a cross-channel communications strategy to drive reach, brand engagement and subscriber growth.
* Stay abreast of best practices and trends in digital marketing, email automation, and social media to ensure continuous innovation and effectiveness.
Skills, Knowledge and Experience:
* Minimum 3 years' experience in a digital or marketing role, ideally within the media, publishing or content-driven sectors.
* Proven track record of executing high-performing email marketing campaigns using platforms such as HubSpot, Mailchimp, or similar.
* Strong proficiency in design tools like Canva to produce engaging visual assets quickly and effectively.
* Solid understanding and hands-on experience using LinkedIn and Meta Business Suite scheduling and insights tools.
* Confident user of CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho) to manage customer data and drive segmentation and campaign efficiency.
* Experience across a range of digital marketing channels: content marketing, PPC/display, retargeting, social media, and affiliate campaigns.
* Ability to analyse campaign data to improve outcomes and present insights to internal stakeholders.
* Excellent communication, project management, and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Highly self-motivated, organised, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
