Business Development Manager Environment Testing
* Main Responsibilities:
* Develop and execute strategies to increase market share in water quality testing, including wastewater, drinking water, soil, air, and asbestos testing.
* Support the annual sales strategy and contribute to budgeting and pricing decisions.
* Identify and cultivate new business opportunities and nurture existing client relationships.
* Manage key accounts and explore cross-selling opportunities to drive revenue growth.
* Monitor market trends and develop proactive plans to capture new business.
* Collaborate with marketing teams to create effective promotional materials and branding initiatives.
* Oversee contractual processes, including non-disclosure agreements, master service agreements, statements of work, and pricing agreements.
* Coordinate tender responses and provide technical and operational input as required.
* Serve as primary contact for customer accounts and ensure exceptional service delivery.
* Prepare and analyze sales and revenue reports, maintaining accurate records in the CRM system.
Requirements:
* Experience working in an accredited testing laboratory or a related technical environment is preferred.
* A minimum of 5 years' experience in sales management and key account management.
* Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
* Self-motivated, organized, and able to work effectively under pressure.
* Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask.
