Overview Digital & Systems Management Oversee the performance and availability of digital systems including POS, self-order kiosks, digital menu boards, delivery platforms, and back-office systems.
Act as the primary liaison between restaurants, approved technology vendors, and Mc Donald's corporate IT teams.
Coordinate system upgrades, rollouts, and new digital initiatives across multiple locations.
Responsibilities Digital & Systems Management: Oversee the performance and availability of digital systems including POS, self-order kiosks, digital menu boards, delivery platforms, and back-office systems.
Operational Technology Support: Ensure reliable connectivity (network, broadband, Wi-Fi, telecoms) across all restaurants.
Troubleshoot and resolve escalated system and digital outages impacting operations.
Implement preventative maintenance and monitoring processes to reduce downtime.
Process Improvement & Compliance: Analyse digital performance data to identify operational efficiencies and improvement opportunities.
Ensure compliance with Mc Donald's global digital standards, data protection, and cybersecurity requirements.
Develop and maintain digital SOPs and escalation procedures.
Training & Change Management: Support restaurant managers and teams with digital system training and adoption.
Lead change management initiatives related to new technology or process changes.
Act as a digital subject-matter expert for restaurant leadership teams.
Strategic & Project Work: Support digital transformation projects aligned with business growth.
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and vendor performance evaluation.
Contribute to long-term digital strategy for the franchise group.
Qualifications Degree in Telecommunications / Networking or equivalent.
Alternatively 5 years in a similar role.
