Director of Safeguarding and Rights
We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our Executive Management Team as Director of Safeguarding and Rights. This role is responsible for leading the development and implementation of person-centered supports that promote active citizenship, inclusion, and empowerment through partnership.
About the Role
This position requires an individual with comprehensive knowledge in safeguarding practices, systems, and structures. The successful candidate will have experience in implementing rights-based approaches in care provision, developing policies, procedures, and guidelines specific to safeguarding, advocacy, and rights.
* A Master's degree or higher in a relevant field (Social Sciences, Nursing & Allied Health)
* Experience at senior level in policy development and team management
* In-depth knowledge of national policies, standards,®ulations impacting on disability services

* An understanding of UNCRPD principles
* a proven track record working within disability service sectors
