**Job Title:** Quality Assurance Specialist
**Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality management and excellent analytical skills.
* This role is responsible for ensuring that all products meet the required quality standards, as well as maintaining and updating site HACCP plans.
* You will be working closely with the Quality Manager to identify and implement quality improvement projects, and ensure compliance with legislative requirements such as BRC, NSAI/HSE and customer standards.
In addition to your technical skills, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
**Key Responsibilities:
* Internal Auditing (Structural, Traceability, Document Control etc.)
* Maintaining, reviewing and updating site HACCP plans
* Day-to-day validation of site quality management systems
* Reviewing and updating documentation, SOPs & check sheets
* Customer complaint investigation and close out
* Undertaking quality improvement projects
* Facilitate and aid in customer trace requests
* Legislative, BRC, NSAI/HSE and customer standards compliance
* Product sampling and non-conformance investigation and close out
* Hygiene reviews
* Final product label verification
* Reporting supplier non-conformances
* Participation in 3rd party audits and resulting non-conformance report close out
**Requirements:
* A recognised Diploma in a food discipline or B.Sc. in science discipline
* 1-3 years QA/QC experience in Food Manufacturing environment
