Join our team as a Support Engineer and play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of laboratory electronic systems.
The successful candidate will provide technical support for laboratory information management systems, chromatography data systems, electronic lab notebooks, and other IT platforms. Key responsibilities include:
* Serving as a system administrator for laboratory IT systems
* Troubleshooting system performance issues and providing technical support
* Performing system updates in accordance with change control and action item procedures
* Coordinating with IT teams regarding system upgrades and validation activities
* Liaising with global system stakeholders and presenting findings in informal reports to supervisors
* Supporting qualification and routine maintenance of high-end electronic laboratory instrumentation
* Participating in deviation investigations and accurately documenting any system or user errors according to established protocols
* FOLLOWING all applicable Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) procedures and contributing to incident investigations as needed
* Assisting in the training and onboarding of laboratory personnel in the use of lab IT systems
* Maintaining strong collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders across laboratory and IT functions
