Job Title: Senior Behaviour Therapist
About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Behaviour Therapist to join our team. As a Senior Behaviour Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality therapy services to individuals with intellectual disabilities.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement individualised behaviour support plans in accordance with best practice guidelines
* Collaborate with colleagues to provide comprehensive support to individuals and their families
* Contribute to the development and implementation of organisational policies and procedures related to behaviour support
* Maintain accurate records of client progress and programme outcomes
* Participate in ongoing professional development to stay up-to-date with best practice in behaviour support
Requirements
* A minimum of 5 years full-time experience working in the area of intellectual disability
* A level 8 qualification in health or social care related area from a recognised institution
* Professional body registration
* A minimum of 1 year experience in specialist area of Positive Behaviour Support
* Successful completion of Quality and Qualifications Ireland (QQI), National Framework of Qualifications (NFQ) major academic Level 9 or higher award (equivalent to 60 ECTS or above)
* Knowledgeable of Health Act, 2007(Care and support of residents in designated centres for person's (Children and Adults) with disabilities) Regulations 2013
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, teamwork and effective caseload management skills
* Full Clean Irish Driving licence with access to own transport
