The primary function of the Team Leader is the management of a team and the smooth running of the day-to-day sales and support operations.
Job Responsibilities
Working closely with and reporting to the Sales & Performance Manager, you will be results-focused. Your key responsibilities will include:
1. Focusing, motivating, and inspiring the team to achieve goals and results by driving optimal individual and team performance to meet KPIs and targets.
2. Conducting one-on-one meetings with team members to assess performance against objectives.
3. Carrying out weekly call evaluations to ensure consistency, regulatory compliance, and best practices in customer engagement.
4. Providing leadership, support, and development to team members, leveraging their strengths to drive performance.
5. Overseeing daily operations and workflow of the team efficiently and organized.
6. Creating a learning environment to facilitate knowledge and insight transfer.
7. Serving as a point of referral for complex and escalated queries.
8. Collaborating with colleagues to achieve overall targets.
9. Ensuring compliance with all systems and procedures laid down by the company.
10. Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of the company's Personal Lines and Commercial product range, compliance requirements, and completing relevant industry qualifications as needed.
11. Performing additional duties as required by management.
Education
* Holding a third-level qualification and/or appropriate professional qualification, such as APA, CIP, or being grandfathered in the area of selling personal and commercial insurance.

Additional Information
This role is within Pay Band B of FBD’s IT function. It carries the Controlled Function designation CF3 under the Central Bank's regime. The position is offered as a 12-month fixed-term contract.
