Workalongside our experienced Duty Manager and our Reception and integration Officer..The duties of the Centre manager include; - To take on a leadership role within Keldesso Ltd and assume responsibility for the management of 1 Ennis based Family IPAS centres - with the support of a General Assistant ,to supervise and provide support to the staff - to ensure the day-to-day operations of the service run smoothly and in accordance with the policies and procedures - to carry out administrative procedures in accordance with organisation policies - to ensure that administration and recording systems are in place and appropriately operated. to ensure that all incidents, emergencies, events and handovers are recorded using the recording systems in place - to ensure a safe, welcoming and friendly environment is maintained in the operation of the centre - to be proactive in addressing difficult or problematic situations as they arise in a sensitive and direct manner within the framework of the organisational policies and procedures - to have full responsibility as a Mandated Person and Designated Liaison Person for the centre - to work effectively and in collaboration with IPAS, HIQA, HSE, Tusla, Gardai and all relevant agencies - to communicate effectively and respectfully with colleagues and residents - to develop and maintain positive and mutually beneficial relationships with relevant external agencies - to ensure that health and safety standards are maintained and adhere to related policies and procedures at all times - to ensure adherence within the service at all times to IPAS policy and procedures .The ideal candidate will have some experience of working in the area of caring for vulnerable people - Experience within the hospitality sector a plus. Integrity and an ability to build trusting and respectful professional relationships - A trauma-informed approach to service delivery - Good written and oral communication and I.T. skills - Strong Interpersonal and teamwork skills - Strong advocacy skills - A receptiveness to feedback from residents and colleagues - A practical common sense approach..
