Civils Foreman Civil Infrastructure Projects (Limerick) An experienced Civils Foreman is required for ongoing civil infrastructure projects in Limerick, including roads, drainage, and bridge construction works. This is a hands-on, site-based role overseeing groundworks and bridge-related operations. The position is ideal for a Foreman with strong leadership skills and a solid background in civil engineering projects, looking to work with a reputable contractor on regional infrastructure schemes. Role: Supervise and coordinate site operatives and subcontractors across all civil works, including roadworks, drainage, foundations, and bridges. Ensure works are completed safely, to programme, and in accordance with project drawings and specifications. Work closely with the Site Engineer and Project Manager to plan daily activities and resource allocation. Enforce health & safety standards and promote a strong safety culture on site. Monitor quality of workmanship and carry out regular site inspections. Assist with site logistics, plant coordination, and materials management. Maintain accurate daily records, including progress reports and site diaries. Identify and resolve on-site issues promptly, escalating when necessary. Requirements: 5+ years experience as a Civils Foreman or similar role in Ireland. Strong background in civil engineering, infrastructure, and bridge construction. Proven ability to lead site crews and subcontractors. Excellent knowledge of health & safety regulations and safe systems of work. Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and method statements. Strong organisational and communication skills. SMSTS / Safe Pass / Manual Handling (or equivalent). Full clean driving licence. Right to work in ROI.
