Our client, a large building contractor, requires a Site Manager for a residential building project in Co. Limerick.Responsibilities:Implement our proven Safety Management System on siteImplement our Quality Management System on siteSuggest appropriate changes that will increase the overall efficiency of the building process without compromising Safety or QualityWorking to an agreed programme and planning future works to avoid delaysPlan, maintain and control the financial administration of all construction work to attain and maintain maximum cost effectivenessRequisitioning materials required on site in time and to the correct specificationAttend various meetings to ensure the efficient communication of all issues that affect day to day running of the siteOrganising daily whiteboard meetingsManagement of all day to day onsite activityAbility to prioritize workloadStrong communication and problem-solving skillsPro-active approachProven track record in similar roleThe successful candidate will have:3+ years site management experienceExperience on commercial and residential building projectsDemonstrated ability to see projects through from concept to completionPrevious Experience Working for a Main ContractorRelevant third level degree would be beneficial but not obligatoryAn attractive remuneration package is available for the successful candidate.Ward Personnel is an equal opportunities employer.
