About The Role
Description:
The role will support Bidvest Noonan's contracts at UCD. The position will be site based at UCD Belfield Dublin. The Health and Safety Assistant will be responsible for the Health & Safety management of the company's activities on site at UCD. This includes developing and maintaining the Health & Safety and quality training programme for the contracts, cross functional compliance and supporting the Bidvest Noonan management team in driving and promoting a culture of compliance and excellence.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
* Design, promote and lead Health & Safety implementation plans in line with contractual requirements.
* Manage legal obligations and client expectations in line with industry best practice.
* Drive both Bidvest Noonan objectives and client expectations on-sites.
* Drive compliance and continuous improvement through ensuring staff training & maintaining safety documentation.
* Engage with staff to ensure a positive safety culture and reporting level is achieved and maintained.
* Conduct, manage and review incident investigations.
* Review process and equipment changes to identify potential Health & Safety impacts.
* Review and report on relevant contractual KPIs.
* Engage with the clients to ensure key contractual requirements are fulfilled.
Ensure all equipment on site is checked on a regular basis and that the pat testing is completed
