We are currently seeking an experienced Project Planner with expertise in Industrial Electrical Projects to join a leading engineering and construction organisation. This is a fully office-based role, supporting the planning and delivery of projects across Europe.In this role, you will be responsible for developing, managing, and maintaining project schedules throughout the full project lifecycle, from pre-construction through to completion. The position requires strong planning capability, excellent communication skills, and the ability to coordinate effectively across multidisciplinary teams within a fast-paced environment.The organisation is a specialist electrical contractor delivering medium and low voltage installation, termination, busbar, and containment solutions across a range of mission-critical construction projects. Operating internationally, the business supports sectors including data centres, pharmaceuticals, renewable energy, power generation, and critical infrastructure.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain detailed project schedules, integrating scope, milestones, and resource allocationMonitor project progress against baseline schedules, identifying and addressing risks and delays proactivelyCollaborate with site teams to gather real-time updates and ensure accurate planning informationLead planning meetings with internal and external stakeholders to align timelines and delivery expectationsRecommend sequencing and resource adjustments to improve efficiency and milestone achievementIncorporate project scope changes and variations into schedules in coordination with commercial and delivery teamsProduce and distribute accurate progress reports to project leadership and senior managementSupport risk mitigation activities by identifying schedule impacts and implementing corrective actionsAssist with short-term lookahead programmes to support site delivery activitiesMaintain planning documentation and records in line with project and organisational standardsRequirementsProven expertise using Primavera P6Minimum of 3 years’ experience in planning and scheduling large-scale projectsPrevious experience working on Data Centre projects is highly desirableStrong analytical and communication skills with the ability to interpret complex project dataEffective stakeholder management skills with a collaborative approachFluent English communication skills, both written and verbalFull eligibility to work within the EU/EEA/UK without sponsorship
