Strategic Business Development Leader Role
The successful Strategic Business Development Leader will lead the tendering process for energy-related projects, ensuring high-quality and competitive bids. This position requires coordinating with various departments, understanding client requirements, and preparing proposals to secure new business opportunities in the Irish market.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage the end-to-end tendering process, from initial qualification to submission.
2. Analyse tender documents and customer requirements, assessing opportunities, feasibility, risks, and potential for growth.
3. Develop comprehensive and competitive bids, proposals, and pricing structures to maximise profitability while meeting client expectations.
4. Ensure compliance with all technical, financial, legal, and regulatory standards required within the Irish energy industry.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant professional certification is an advantage.
* 7+ years of experience in tendering, proposals, or project management within the energy or utilities sector, ideally within the Irish or EU market.
* Strong understanding of the energy industry, specifically in renewable energy, power generation, or infrastructure projects.
