This is your chance to grow, innovate, and contribute meaningfully as we work towards excellence together.What to expect from the Entity Governance & Compliance tax role?This is a company secretarial / governance role and an opportunity to join a dynamic team in a growing department in PwC involving the provision of company secretarial and governance services to a broad client base across a range of industries. The Entity Governance and Compliance team sits within the tax services practice and has many common clients.The Entity Governance and Compliance team consists of 20 professionals consisting of qualified and part qualified Chartered Governance Institute professionals who specialise in the provision of high-quality outsourced company secretarial and governance services to clients. We also work as part of a global team on cross country projects so there is great scope for integration on a global scale.We're looking for graduates who are eager, adaptable, and ready to expand their skills in company secretarial, governance, and business areas. You'll work with our in-house Diligent package and custom applications designed by us.You'll receive comprehensive training both on the job and through structured modules, ensuring you have a mentor within the team to guide you daily. This role offers the chance to engage in diverse projects throughout the year, with each day presenting new challenges. By the end of three years, you'll have a solid understanding of Company Law and the Company Secretarial role.Specific areas of responsibility include:Incorporating companiesAttending board meetings with more senior team member and preparing minutes for reviewSupporting team with corporate transactions including preparation of statutory formsFiling of Board and General MinutesAssisting with Risk Management processesAssisting with the administration of share schemesParticipating in special projects including restructurings and intercompany transactionsUpdating Company Secretarial software packageFiling of documentation with Companies Registration OfficeMaintaining Register of beneficial ownerships for client companies to include all associated filings.Professional Qualifications:Embarking on our EGC graduate programme is your first step towards earning the Chartered Governance Institute (CGI) qualification.
