Programme Overview
Powering Research Innovation for Sustainable Manufacturing (PRISM) is a cross‑border project supported by PEACEPLUS, managed by the Special EU Programmes Body (SEUPB). PRISM will harness commercially focused R&I expertise to drive decarbonisation in 3 clusters in the Advanced Manufacturing Sector: Mineral Processing, Polymer Processing, Agrifood.
PRISM will support SMEs to accelerate the development of low‑carbon products & processes (8 per cluster), decarbonise their respective manufacturing processes, and improve economic and environmental performance.
PRISM is led by South West College (SWC) and each cluster is selected based on sectoral R&I capabilities & expertise of the lead Research Organisations, Queens University Belfast (QUB), South West College (SWC), North West Regional College (NWRC). The decarbonisation R&I expertise of Atlantic Technological University (ATU) & Dublin City University (DCU) will be deployed across all 3 clusters.
