Electrical Project Management Role in the Public Sector

The successful candidate will oversee capital works, tendering projects, managing contractors, designing electrical systems, and communicating with stakeholders. This role offers an exciting chance to work with our client's Capital & Estates Department in Dublin West.
Key aspects of this position include:
* Tendering projects and managing contractors to ensure compliance with legislation, standards, and statutory obligations.
* Designing electrical systems and developing commissioning procedures for new infrastructure and upgrades.
* Leading electrical projects from design to construction and commissioning phases.
* Overseeing project budgets, timelines, and deliverables to align with organizational goals.
* Coodinating with design teams, contractors, and regulatory bodies to ensure seamless execution of projects.
* Managing procurement processes for design services, professional expertise, and contractor engagement.
* Driving sustainability initiatives, including ISO 50001 compliance and energy consumption optimization.
For this position, we are seeking a highly skilled individual with:
* A bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
* A minimum of 7 years of experience in electrical engineering ideally within a consultancy across healthcare projects.
* Demonstrated expertise in managing capital projects, budgets, and cross-disciplinary teams.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
