Job: Technical Cloud infrastructure LeadLocation: Clondalkin, DublinWorking arrangement: 1-2 days a week onsiteType: ContractRate: per dayWe are looking for a talented and dedicated Cloud infrastructure Lead our customers team in Dublin.In the role, you will develop the organisational, process and metrics proposition across the infrastructure, ensuring that the advantages of cloud technologies are fully leveraged. Other duties will include:Develop clear understanding of governance and team roles and responsibilitiesIdentify where our clients can leverage IT for greatest strategic impact, defining a target IT architecture that supports business requirements and reduces costsSetup and manage production operations ensuring environment stability and uptimeImplement a pro-active monitoring solutionHelp optimise infrastructure costHelp align with the Development and DevOps team toolsetsWork collaboratively with the Development, Test, Operations and Release teamWe are looking for experienced System Engineers with a strong Linux, AWS and Terraform background. Ideally other experience will include:Experience leading DevOps/SRE team within AWS and cloud technologiesStrong background in Linux/Unix Systems, AWS & TerraformTransformation and migrating from hosted traditional stack to a cloud-based stackLeadership of the Development, Test, Operations and Release teamsExperience applying software dev practices to infrastructure deploymentExperience helping development teams build and deploy microservices based applications in AWSExperience migrating from hosted traditional stack to a cloud-based stack.Experience developing docker solutions in AWS: EKS, ECSExperience with Continuous Integration & Continuous Deployment tools and processesExperience with distributed computing, cloud security, IaaS & PaaS architectures, DevOps, SRE and networking conceptsUnderstanding of Identity and Access Management, user and system authentication methods and certificates, tokens and certificate managementExperience working in Agile / Scrum teamsThis is an exciting opportunity to join a leading business with a household brand.
