We are seeking a DevOps Engineer who will play a central role in ensuring our teams deliver high-quality products efficiently, while contributing to the evolution of our CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and operational tooling. You will join a passionate, experienced engineering team working on the next generation of features and capabilities for our exchange platform.

What will I be doing?
1. Design, build, and enhance automated environments across Xanadu platforms as part of the DevOps Chapter.
2. Act as a subject matter expert in automation, deployment, and operational excellence for highly available, always-on systems.
3. Develop tools, pipelines, and automation scripts for:
4. Container and image management
5. CI/CD deployments
6. Environment orchestration
7. Data and operational analytics
8. Automated testing
9. Logging and monitoring
10. Troubleshoot and resolve issues across development, QA, performance, and production environments.
11. Stay current with modern technologies and methodologies, providing technical guidance and recommendations to engineering teams.
12. Document processes, tools, and architectures as part of continuous improvement and operational readiness.
What we're looking for?
13. A strong passion for automation, modern infrastructure, and operational tooling.
14. 2–3 years of experience in a DevOps, SRE, or software engineering role supporting high-velocity development teams.
15. Experience with Docker and containerised environments.
16. Hands-on experience with configuration management and automation tools (SaltStack, Ansible, or similar).
17. Practical experience with AWS, Azure, or equivalent cloud platforms.
18. Proficiency in one or more scripting or programming languages (Python, Java, Groovy, Shell).
19. Familiarity with open-source tooling including:
20. CI/CD platforms (Jenkins, GitLab CI)
21. Build tools and artifact management (Maven, Gradle, Nexus)
22. Experience with operational monitoring and alerting (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/ElasticStack).
23. Strong organisational habits, attention to detail, and ability to work independently or collaboratively.
24. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
25. Eligibility to live and work in Ireland.
Nice to Have
26. Experience with additional automation/configuration tools (Puppet, Chef, etc.).
27. Broader scripting capability across multiple languages.
28. Deeper experience with CI/CD or infrastructure-as-code frameworks.
29. Additional exposure to observability tooling and performance diagnostics.
