Responsibilities
* Event Preparation & Setup: Assist in the setup and breakdown of all conference and banqueting events according to event specifications. Ensure all function rooms are presented to a high standard, including layout, cleanliness, and equipment.
* Team Supervision: Supervise the daily operations of the C&B team, ensuring a consistent and high-quality service. Conduct pre-event briefings and allocate duties to team members. Support in training and mentoring staff to uphold service standards. Lead by example during events, actively participating in service delivery.
* Event Execution & Coordination: Liaise with the Events Coordinator, Kitchen, and other departments to ensure smooth event execution. Monitor event progress and address any issues that arise promptly and professionally. Adjust staffing or service elements in real-time based on guest needs or changes.
* Guest Service: Deliver a luxury guest experience by ensuring all guests receive attentive and professional service. Handle guest反馈 or complaints efficiently, ensuring a positive resolution. Build rapport with clients and event organizers to encourage repeat business.
* Standards & Compliance: Ensure adherence to hotel service standards, health & safety regulations, and hygiene protocols. Oversee the proper use, storage, and maintenance of all C&B equipment and materials.
* Post-Event Duties: Supervise the reset of event spaces in preparation for upcoming functions. Report any damages, maintenance issues, or feedback to the C&B Manager. Support with inventory control and stock levels of event supplies.
Requirements for the role
* Previous experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality or events industry.
* Knowledge of event planning and banqueting procedures.
* Strong organizational and leadership skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Familiarity with health and safety regulations related to events.
* Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules.
