Lead Instrumentation Engineer
We are seeking an experienced Lead Instrumentation Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will lead the development of complex instrumentation solutions for various projects.
About the Role
This is a hybrid role, connected to our office in Cork. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in heavy industrial engineering design and be proficient in the use of Smart Plant Instrumentation (SPI) & digital project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
* Integrate as part of a large instrumentation team on various projects as part of a multidiscipline project team
* Analyze complex engineering problems and offer effective solutions
* Provide support to fee and capital budget proposals as required
* Assemble and manage bid, approval, and construction issue instrumentation packages in an efficient and lean manner
* Mentor instrumentation engineering staff at junior and intermediate levels, if required
* Check other instrumentation engineers work for accuracy and quality and undertake peer reviews
Qualifications
The successful candidate will have:
* A third level degree in instrumentation engineering or similar discipline
* 10+ years of formal experience in heavy industrial engineering design
* Demonstrable advanced experience in the complete suite of instrumentation engineering design services
* Proficient in the use of smart plant instrumentation (SPI) & digital project delivery
