This is a newly created role due to expansion and you will be joining a tax team of 10 people overall.

Your new role You will report into the Head of Product Tax - EU, sitting in a team of 3 in product tax and 10 in the overall tax team, split evenly across Dublin and London.
Your new Product Tax Specialist job will be an end-to-end role and as the group launches lots of new products, it is a very exciting time to join this team.
Your duties will include driving EU tax strategy, advisory on new tax regulations, strategic stakeholder relations, tax risk management and process improvement.
Tasks will include but are not limited to: Manage day-to-day tax affairs across EU tax, focus on UK&I Act as a tax business partner with the wider business on all existing and new European product range, identifying, managing and minimising tax risks throughout the end-to-end lifecycle of fundproducts, including launch, ongoing management, and closure As Product Tax Specialist, you will provide technical tax expertise, interpreting and implementing new tax legislation and regulations and advising on new product launches, distribution strategies the various asset types across European markets Review and advise on the tax aspects of product documentation, agreements and investor relations Support investor tax reporting obligations by providing technical input Oversee and review CT600 fund tax returns and associated deliverables / filings Monitor withholding tax positions, manage reclaim and relief at source processes, and ensure timely updates to withholding tax rates As a cross-functional and collaborative team, you will provide support on a wide range of tax projects and initiatives What you'll need to succeed You will be a fully qualified Chartered Tax Advisor (CTA) or Chartered Accountant (ACA), with strong asset and investment management industry experience Ideally you will have worked in industry in asset management, in custody tax but strong industry exposure through big 4/similar practice background will also be considered Good experience across tax research databases such as BBH Worldview, EY GWTR Very strong stakeholder management and business partnering skills are critical for this role - you need to be able to proactively build your own network across the wider business and run with product tax end to end with minimal guidance Confident in proactively going out to the business to find information and resolve issues, as well as learning new skills on the job Ability to collaborate, communicate with and present to senior stakeholders with confidence What you'll get in return You will be rewarded with a wide range of benefits and comprehensive package to include: Salary of €80,000 - €85,000 with scope for career progression Two different bonus schemes with additional earning potential of up to €18,5000 Pension: 4% EE, 10% ER contribution Life assurance EAP programme Fully covered private health insurance Additional travel insurance perks 25 days annual leave upon joining, increases with tenure up to 28 days Various tax-saver scheme initiatives Ongoing L&D support to further your career Global transfer opportunities Hybrid working - Office days (3) Tues - Thurs, work from home(2) Monday & Friday What you need to do now If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.
