Job Title: Student Experience Specialist (Global Partners)

Job Summary
The Student Experience Specialist (Global Partners) is a highly specialised role responsible for the strategic planning, risk management, and end-to-end operational governance of the College's study abroad and transnational education cohorts. Acting as the primary institutional support for global partner relationships, this Specialist manages critical workflows with international partners and cross-border stakeholders.
The role exercises high-level professional judgement and advisory expertise to oversee complex support services and design comprehensive co-curricular programmes. By balancing high-level stakeholder management with specialised student support, the Specialist directly protects the reputation of Dublin Business School within the highly competitive global mobility market, driving international student retention and high-value corporate partnership continuity.
Key Responsibilities

Global Partnership & Stakeholder Management: Serve as the operational point of contact and relationship manager for international partner institutions, academic coordinators, timetables, and onsite coordinators to maintain institutional confidence and compliance.
Transnational Programme Coordination: Support, budget, and govern the end-to-end non-academic lifecycle framework for inbound global mobility cohorts, ensuring pre-arrival, orientation, and transition plans meet the partners' quality standards.
Risk Management & Experiential Governance: Coordinate, design, risk‑assess, and manage a complex, high‑budget calendar of co‑curricular educational programmes, study tours, and field operations. Personally lead domestic and international mobile cohorts (approx. 15% travel) under strict health and safety protocols.
Cross‑Border Student Advisory & Welfare: Provide high-level, specialised pastoral and advisory support to overseas students facing complex cross-cultural adjustment, mental health, or housing crises, utilising professional discretion to manage escalations.
Institutional Delegation & Audit Support: Coordinate, facilitate, and manage official VIP campus visits from international university dignitaries, deans, and foreign academic auditors, ensuring the College's international mobility infrastructure is flawlessly presented.
Coordinating Integration & Orientation Design: Oversee the structural alignment and execution of registration and orientation initiatives, collaborating with academic departments to maximise the co‑curricular and systemic integration of global students into the wider campus community.
Regulatory Compliance & Data Integrity: Maintain sensitive student records across international frameworks, ensuring strict adherence to Irish Data Protection legislation (GDPR) and institutional privacy regulations.
Data‑Driven Quality Assurance: Conduct continuous strategic reviews of global mobility trends, compiling specialised departmental data reports, handbooks, and educational guides to drive systemic service enhancements across the student lifecycle.
Coordinating Communications: Lead and manage communication plans for international cohorts regarding trips, activities and various tours.
Interdepartmental Alignment: Represent the interests of global mobility and international support services across internal institutional boards, academic committees, open evenings, and graduation ceremonies.
Institutional Citizenship: Actively contribute to a high‑performance culture of innovation, inclusion, and mutual respect, collaborating cross‑functionally to achieve the College's broader internationalisation objectives.

Job Requirements (Essential Criteria)

Academic Qualifications: A Bachelor’s degree (Level 8 NFQ) or an equivalent professional qualification requiring high-level analytical, public relations, or administrative expertise.
Sector Expertise: 2+ years of dedicated, professional experience in Higher Education Internationalisation, Global Mobility, or International Student Services.
Specialised Knowledge: Deep, demonstrated understanding of global mobility supports, intercultural communication methodologies, and the unique pastoral care/welfare requirements of international student cohorts.
Stakeholder Management: Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with a proven track record of managing relationships with international corporate or academic partners.
Operational Capabilities: Strong project management competencies, including financial/budgetary oversight, risk assessment, and detailed, auditable record‑keeping.
Regulatory Literacy: Comprehensive working knowledge of privacy laws, student confidentiality protocols, and data compliance standards (GDP

Previous professional experience living, working, or studying abroad within an international education context.
