JARU is a dynamic and growing food business with operations across a production kitchen, restaurant, and food market. We are committed to delivering high-quality retail food products while maintaining the highest hygiene and safety standards. We're currently seeking a Food safety manager to join our team and oversee food safety, hygiene, and compliance practices across all our locations.Work HoursMon-Fri, 8:00-16:30Weekends, Bank holiday offKey ResponsibilitiesWork closely with the production kitchen team to ensure all retail products meet food safety and quality standardsManage and maintain the HACCP system, including documentation and implementation across the production kitchen, restaurant, and food marketMonitor hygiene records and ensure full compliance with food safety regulations and company standardsConduct regular audits across all sites (production kitchen, restaurant, and food market)Train and support kitchen staff in food safety procedures and hygiene best practicesIdentify risks and areas for improvement, and implement corrective actionsLiaise with health and safety authorities and external auditors as neededRequirementsMinimum 5 years of kitchen experience, ideally in a supervisory or quality-focused roleStrong understanding of HACCP, food safety regulations, and hygiene standardsStrong understanding of Korean foods(especially Kimchi) and fermented foodsExcellent organizational and documentation skillsConfident in conducting audits and addressing non-conformitiesAble to work independently and collaboratively across different teamsFluent in English (spoken and written)Desirable (but not essential)EU Category B (van) driving license – for site visits and auditsPrevious experience in a Food safety or compliance role within the food industryKnowledge of local food safety legislation and inspection processesWhat We OfferOpportunity to play a key role in a growing food businessCollaborative work environment with a focus on quality and innovationStaff discounts, meals on duty, on-site parkingJob Type: Full-timePay: €17.00-€20.00 per hourBenefits:Employee discountOn-site parkingSick payApplication question(s):Are you eligible to work as a full-time in Ireland?
