The Job:
Stockroom Assistant
Kilkenny Design, Pavillions Shopping Centre, Swords
Fixed Term Contract, October 2025 to January 2026
20-30 Hours per week, working Monday to Friday
About You
You'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, demonstrating product knowledge, and building quality customer relationships to achieve business goals whilst being an ambassador for our values and the Kilkenny brand.
You will also:
* Get stock to the sale floor as the key responsibility of the stockroom assistant.
* Manage all stock movements from suppliers and that are transferred between the stores.
* Follow through with any discrepancies that arise with stock.
* Receipt stock and keep accurate records for all inwards and outwards inventory movements.
* Process claims where required on faulty goods, late deliveries, and short deliveries.
* Investigate claims where required on faulty goods, late deliveries, and short deliveries.
* Work with your manager to ensure all paperwork associated with credits are completed and recorded accurately.
* Ensure the stockroom is always kept clear and accessible.
* Ensure that health and safety regulations are adhered to.
* Manage SKU accuracy that all stock barcoded match correctly to the system.
* Barcode stock items when required.
