Objective of the Role
We are looking for full time or part time Staff Nurse applicants
Salary will be based on the qualifications and level of experience as part of consolidated pay scales
Roles & Responsibilities:
* Taking up responsibility on each shift for the nursing care of patients
* Ensuring a high standard of care for all the residents or patients is maintained at all times
* Leading the team of Healthcare Assistants and guide in providing high quality direct and indirect care
* Building strong relationships with residents or patients to understand their needs
* Ensuring all documentation relating to patients is accurately maintained in accordance with regulatory requirements
* Participating in a dynamic environment where teamwork and personal development are encouraged
* Monitoring the handover of required documentation closely after every shift
* Ensure that any concerns/incidents for the safety and welfare of patients and staff members are reported in a timely manner
* Ensure maintenance of hygiene standards in the premises

Essential Criteria:
* Applicants must be a registered nurses with the NMBI Pin
* Minimum 6 months of post-graduate care in a hospital or nursing home setting
* Strong clinical & communication skills
* Must practice a person-centered approach in patient care
* Ability to work as part of a team & independently
* Knowledge of HIQA Regulations and standards
* Eligible to work in Ireland
* Strong report writing skills
* Time management and attention to detail
