NPD Manager - Dublin - Dublin West
We are looking for an experienced NPD Manager to lead innovation and product development across our client's business based in Dublin West.
This role is ideal for a technically strong leader who can manage the full NPD process—from idea generation through to commercial launch. You will lead a team of food technologists and work closely with customers to develop products that meet market trends and regulatory standards.
To be considered for this opportunity you must hold at least 8 years experience working within the food industry in NPD along with holding managerial experience with direct reports.

Key Responsibilities
* Manage the full NPD cycle and create an innovation strategy that supports business goals. Improve and optimise existing recipes.
* Work directly with customers to understand their needs and develop commercially viable and innovative product solutions.
* Manage, mentor, and support a team of food scientists and technologists.
* Oversee multiple NPD projects, managing timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful product launches.
* Ensure new products are aligned with culinary and operational requirements.
* Provide technical guidance to customers and internal teams where needed.
* Keep up to date with Irish and EU food regulations, including labelling, ingredient claims, and food additives.
Essentials:
* Degree (Bachelor's or Master's) in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field.
* Must have experience in a managerial role with direct reports.
* At least 8 years' experience in NPD within the food ingredients or food manufacturing industry.
Skills:
* Strong technical knowledge of ingredient functionality and food processing.
* Excellent project management and team leadership skills.
* Commercially focused with the ability to collaborate effectively with sales and marketing teams.
* Experience developing and managing an NPD stage-gate process.
* Strong communication and influencing skills.
