Job Description
We are excited to announce this amazing opportunity for an experienced and ambitious individual to join our One Star Michelin Star Restaurant.
Our Guest Experience is of utmost importance at Ballyfin, and exceptional Customer Service is a must.
This is a full‑time, permanent position, 5 days over 7 days, Monday to Sunday. The shift for our dinner service will be approximately 3pm to closing.
Responsibilities
As a chef de rang, your primary responsibility is to deliver exceptional service and ensure a memorable dining experience for guests.
Welcome guests to the restaurant and show them to their table.
Explain the menu, order of service and answer any questions the guest may have.
Take orders of food and beverage, ensuring no errors and confirming all dietary requirements.
Liaise with the kitchen team and chefs as required.
Assist and train colleagues when needed; teamwork is essential.
Communicate the details of each dish to the guest and answer any questions.
Serve and clear plates and crockery as required.
Coordinate with the F&B team and kitchen to ensure clear communication and enhance the guest experience.
Develop a strong knowledge of everything Ballyfin has to offer, including history, food, beverage, activities, etc.
Qualifications
At least one year previous experience working in a fine‑dining or Michelin star restaurant.
Mature and charismatic individual.
Impeccable attention to detail.
Excellent communicator and team player.
Friendly and approachable manner.
Genuine passion for food, beverage and hospitality.
