Staff Nurse – Moorehall Lodge
Location: Drogheda, County Louth, Ireland
Key Responsibilities
Assess, plan, implement and evaluate individualized resident person‑centred care plans within an agreed framework, in accordance with best practice, HIQA standards and evidence‑based nursing research.
Provide holistic, person‑centred care, promoting optimum independence and enhancing the quality of life for residents.
Develop and maintain close links with the families/guardians of residents.
Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal input for each resident.
Maintain accurate written records and reports regarding resident care.
Advocate for residents and families, empowering them in decision‑making, goal‑setting and problem‑solving, and facilitating participation in community‑based activities.

Qualifications & Experience
Nursing qualification (essential).
Registered with Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (essential).
At least 3 years of experience as a staff nurse in a nursing home (desirable).
Evidence of continuous professional development.
Leadership, administrative knowledge and ability for proper discharge of duties.
Eligibility to work in the Republic of Ireland.
