Our client are a fast-growing organisation at the forefront of Ireland’s renewable energy transition. They are seeking a Finance Business Partner to support a portfolio of large-scale infrastructure and energy projects. Working across development and delivery teams, this is a high-impact role combining strong financial control with commercial insight.
This opportunity is ideal for a newly qualified accountant (1–2 years PQE) who enjoys working close to the business, influencing decisions, and operating in a dynamic, project-based environment.

Key Responsibilities
Partner with project managers and senior stakeholders to provide financial insight and challenge
Support budgeting, forecasting, and investment decisions through scenario analysis and risk assessment
Deliver monthly management accounts, variance analysis, and clear performance commentary
Maintain strong financial controls, governance, and cost discipline across projects
Assist with cashflow forecasting, cost tracking, and financial reporting processes
Contribute to year-end accounts and audit processes
Support tax compliance and appropriate accounting treatment across entities
Drive continuous improvement across finance processes and reporting
Requirements
Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent) with 1–2 years PQE
Experience in a commercially focused finance or business partnering role
Background in a capital-intensive sector (e.g. infrastructure, energy, utilities, construction, or property)
Strong skills in financial analysis, reporting, and forecasting
Confident working with and challenging non-finance stakeholders
Proactive, solutions-focused, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
