About the Role
The Operations Manager - People Services plays a pivotal role in overseeing the day-to-day delivery of services, providing leadership and supervision to teams while ensuring service development aligns with national standards and best practices.
This position is responsible for managing services such as person-centred planning, resource management, and staffing. The successful candidate will facilitate communication and professional leadership to ensure a good quality of life for individuals supported.
* Assist the Team Manager in managing services including person-centred planning, resource allocation, and staffing strategies.

Requirements
A relevant 3rd level qualification in Social Care or Health Sector, e.g., Nursing qualification, and current registration certificate are essential.
Previous experience managing staff teams and leading, motivating, and empowering people is highly desirable.
A minimum of three years' post-qualification experience working with people with Intellectual Disability is required. Demonstrate a clear commitment to community integration, active citizenship, and human rights advocacy.
Essential Skills
Leadership, communication, team working, and knowledge of National Standards for Residential Services, Health Act 2007, and New Directions for Day Services are crucial.
A full clean manual driving licence and fluency in verbal and written English are necessary. Working hours will depend on the grade of the successful candidate, rostered flexibly on a 7-day duty roster.
