Support Worker Job Description
This role involves providing individualized supports to individuals with a disability, enabling them to live their lives in accordance with their own choices. The Support Worker will be working as part of the day services team in the day centre.

* Key Responsibilities:
* To provide one-to-one support and encouragement to enable service users to achieve their goals and aspirations.
* To assist service users with personal care, including washing, dressing, and using the bathroom.
* To support service users with daily living skills, such as cooking, cleaning, and managing finances.
* To assist service users with accessing community resources and participating in leisure activities.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* FETAC Level 5 Certificate in Social Care or other similar healthcare area.
* At least 1 year's experience working with adults with autism and intellectual/physical needs.
* Clean class B driver's license and willingness to drive the service's wheelchair-accessible car.
* Basic IT skills.
