Overview
We are recruiting MSK physiotherapists for our UPMC SSC Sports Medicine Clinic in Santry, Dublin. UPMC provides high‑level sports injury management across Ireland with a multidisciplinary team of diagnostics, sports physicians, and orthopaedics. The successful candidate will work within this network, collaborating with national and international UPMC sports medicine sites.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
* Fulfil the role of a chartered physiotherapist in assessment, diagnosis, and rehabilitation of all injuries, with a focus on sports rehabilitation.
* Be actively involved in an interdisciplinary approach within the UPMC Sports Medicine Clinic, working with physiotherapists, orthopaedic surgeons, and sports medicine physicians.
* Deliver world‑class physiotherapy services at the UPMC Sports Medicine Clinic on a day‑to‑day basis.
* Accept clinical responsibility for a designated caseload of patients and organise this efficiently regarding clinical priorities and use of time.
* Assist in the development and improvement of evidence‑based protocols for all areas of physiotherapy within UPMC Sports Medicine.
* Participate in research across sports science, orthopaedics, and physiotherapy.
* Adhere to all UPMC policies, including GDPR compliance, health and safety, and incident reporting.
Qualifications & Experience
Essential
* Registered with MISCP and CORU.
* Minimum of 2 years experience as a chartered physiotherapist.
* Experience delivering injury diagnosis, treatment, and prevention strategies within a sporting environment.
* Experience in injury screening, diagnostic, manual therapy, and sports rehabilitation.
* Strong knowledge in injury prevention methods and recovery strategies.
* Evidence of a structured CPD portfolio, including postgraduate qualifications.
Desirable
* Experience in a sporting club setting and within an interdisciplinary sports science and medicine team.
