Overview
Join to apply for the Head of Finance role at Morgan McKinley, a partnership with a large charity to lead the Finance Department under the Director of Finance and Corporate Services. This senior position combines strategic leadership with hands‑on financial planning and operational oversight.
Hybrid working model: 2 days working from the office. Salary €78,000 per annum.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the financial and management reporting processes
* Implement and maintain a strong financial control environment ensuring compliance with relevant legislative requirements
* Ensure integrity of annual financial statements
* Financial planning and analysis, including the budgeting and forecasting processes
* Contribute to the overall organisational strategy as part of the senior management team
* Develop process improvements to enhance reporting capabilities and drive efficiencies
* Manage relationships with auditors, bankers, investment advisors, insurance brokers, and other professional partners
* Lead change initiatives within the finance function while supporting broader organisational changes
* Oversee recruitment, training, development, and performance management of the finance team.
Qualifications
* Minimum of 5 years relevant work experience
* Demonstrated experience delivering systems or process improvements
* At least 2 years of team management experience
* Experience using an accounting software, and a CRM system
* Experience in leading and managing internal audits
* Experience working with Business Central (or Navision), MS Dynamics, and Power‑BI
* Advanced Excel skills; complex formulas and automation techniques
* Experience in a not‑for‑profit environment

Salary €78,000
