Job Opportunity in Demand Flexibility
The Commission for Regulation of Utilities has published a consultation paper on the demand flexibility product proposal. The CRU is seeking views on this proposal for the procurement of a demand flexibility product for congestion management flexibility services on the distribution system.
This procurement could entail up to 500 MW of flexibility services for the distribution system. To meet the flexibility targets set out in the Climate Action Plan, up to 1 GW of flexibility services may be needed on the distribution system by 2030.
Responsibilities:
* Procure demand flexibility products for congestion management flexibility services
* Collaborate with stakeholders to develop the procurement strategy
* Analyze market trends and identify opportunities for cost savings
* Develop and implement a risk management plan to mitigate potential risks
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., engineering, business, economics)
* Minimum 5 years of experience in a related field (e.g., energy, finance, project management)
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
* Strong communication and collaboration skills
