Job Description
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting the client portfolio in all aspects, working closely with the client engagement team to ensure timely completion of tasks and meeting client deadlines. Your role will involve taking ownership of client portfolios, including year-end and management accounts, budgets, and forecasts for selected clients.
Key responsibilities include managing and developing relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction with services provided and identifying opportunities to support clients. You will also be required to display effective communication with clients and colleagues, take ownership and responsibility for delivery of all aspects of client accounting work from start to finish, on budget, liaising with other departments to agree timescales and plan performance of work and act to ensure delivery by all agreed deadlines.
You will perform advanced technical work as required, oversee the finalisation of all accounts, produce detailed reports, and ensure all client queries are answered on a timely basis. Additionally, you will take responsibility for the delivery of specialist advisory and project work to a high technical standard, writing clear and concise reports, providing alternative options, and concluding on recommendations.
Maintenance and development of technical knowledge is essential, requiring research of new legislation, identifying opportunities for clients, and advising accordingly. Participation in tenders/proposals for new work as required.
