Red D are recruiting a Director of Rooms Division for a prestigious five star luxury hotel in Ireland.
This senior leadership role carries full responsibility for Front Office, Accommodation and Maintenance, ensuring a seamless guest journey from pre-arrival to departure.
The Director of Rooms Division will be central to meeting and maintaining Forbes 5 Star standards, driving operational precision, consistency and exceptional guest care.
The Director of Rooms Division will focus on operational efficiency, strong departmental leadership and close collaboration across the hotel.
Its a demanding brief suited to an experienced Rooms Division leader who thrives on high expectations and has the credibility to deliver sustained excellence.
Key Responsibilities Provide strategic direction and daily oversight for the Rooms Division, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and consistent departmental performance Lead, mentor and develop Front Office, Accommodation and Maintenance teams with a strong focus on accountability Monitor guest satisfaction metrics, respond to feedback and drive continuous improvement aligned with Forbes Travel Guide and luxury brand standards Support the implementation of Forbes standards and external audit requirements Develop and manage Rooms Division budgets, forecasts, P&L and CAPEX planning Drive labour productivity, optimise scheduling and ensure effective resource allocation Contribute to the Executive Committee and wider hotel strategy Collaborate closely with Sales, F&B, Spa, Events and Reservations to ensure operational alignment Maintain high standards across all guest-facing and back-of-house Rooms Division areas Ensure adherence to health and safety, fire and statutory compliance Represent the Rooms Division at owner, brand and audit meetings with strong reporting and follow-through About You At least 7 years progressive Rooms Division or Hotel Management leadership experience in a luxury hotel, with a minimum of 2 years at Director level Strong understanding of five star operations and luxury guest expectations Proven leadership of large, multi-disciplinary teams Confident managing departmental P&L, CAPEX and labour productivity Visible leader with strong attention to detail and a hands-on approach Previous exposure to Forbes Travel Guide standards is an advantage Comfortable presenting to owners and senior stakeholders Strong systems literacy across PMS, RMS and reporting tools Whats on Offer Exceptional package for the right Director of Rooms Division Executive level role within one of Irelands leading luxury hotels Opportunity to lead a high-performing Rooms Division working towards and maintaining Forbes 5 Star recognition We can only consider candidates with full, unrestricted permission to live and work in the EU.
