If so, the Apple Premium Service Provider position available in our Rathfarnham service centre may be ideal for you.
ABOUT THE JOB Harvey Norman is looking for a highly organised, customer focused and ideally technical individual to join our team at our growing Apple Premium Authorised Service Provider (PSP) repair centre based in Rathfarnham.
The role will involve delivering an exceptional standard of support to our Apple hardware and software Technicians.
This is a challenging position, requiring an ability to be a problem solver with exceptional time management and organizational skills, an ability to work in a team and also have a strong interest in receiving training in Apple products and technology.
Successful candidates must be self-sufficient in all day-to-day duties with an ability to resolve any challenges.
An ideal candidate is someone looking to start his or her IT career and work on building on this foundation with certified in house training and strive to become certified (ACMT & ACIT certifications) over time and join our Technician team.
THE ROLE Your tasks will include: Maintenance of customer records via Harvey Normans service database to allow for real-time repair status updates Utilise the point of sale system to maintain an accurate record of customer information Part ordering and management Administrative work associated with part ordering, invoicing etc.
Accurate and detailed report writing Produce repair/replacement and service estimates to customers and clients Explain complex technical issues to customers and clients in a non-technical, simple to understand manner Answer phone calls and emails with a professional, courteous and friendly demeanor Work with Lovetech departments in all Harvey Norman stores to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction is maintained nationwide Maintain the cleanliness and professional appearance of the service centre Using a high degree of customer service skill to position a refusal of service Responsible for handling of deliveries and shipments Managing reservations YOUR PROFILE Your knowledge, skills and experience will include: A strong desire to further technical knowledge A real passion for IT with a desire to stay abreast of new technologies Previous experience offering customer service and support on Mac & i OS (tablet/phone) An ability to successfully problem solve and troubleshoot across a range of devices and software platforms with training provided Excellent technical, problem solving, and analytic skills Outstanding customer service skills experience in a client facing customer service position highly desirable An ability to manage several short, medium and long terms projects simultaneously over various periods of time Strong verbal and written communication skills Strong time management skills Exceptional organisational skills Ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines Strong attention to detail Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel in particular) Why people join us: Were dynamic and growing!

Additional Information: This is a full time, fixed term contract, with the potential for permanency.
We need our employees to be flexible about when they work, covering store opening hours, including evenings, weekends and public holidays.
The successful candidate will be required to attend a company induction day in Dublin City Centre.
