The manager will be supported by the directors who are both social care qualified and with over 30 years' experience working with young people in various residential settings. This is a fulltime, permanent position based onsite in the centre, 9-5 Mon-Thurs and (plus shared on-call emergency support).
Our model of Care is a relationship-based approach that is underpinned by the theoretic methodology of Cornell University's Therapeutic Crisis Intervention system, and further supported by attachment theories. We look at the attachment difficulties/disorders and trauma young people have endured throughout their lives and how these experiences may affect their progress moving forward, our approach is inclusive of the young people, in creating positive changes in their lives.
We are located on the boarder of Kildare/ Meath, (approx. 15 min from Liffey Valley). The centre is a large 6 six bed bungalow which is situated on 5.6 acres of land and is ideally suited to promote young people's hobbies and interests. NCRS is a national organisation that caters for the needs of up to 4 young people both males and females aged 13 to 17 years on admission since 2008. Our ethos is under- pinned by empowerment, partnership, respect and education through a relationship based approach.
NCRS offer a wide range of interventions and programmes specifically tailored to incorporate the individualised needs of young people. We aim to empower the young people to develop coping strategies and life skills in order for them to make appropriate life choices which will further enhance their ability to relate and communicate within society.

NCRS are currently recruiting a social care manager to work within our service in Enfield, Meath.
Successful candidates have the following:

* The centre manager must have minimum QQI level 7 qualification in social careand hold or be enrolled in a programme leading to a management qualification suitable for a health or social care setting and 4 years' full time work experience in a children's residential care setting post qualification.
* Alternatively, the manager may hold a QQI level 8 qualification in social care with 3 years' post qualification work experience in a children's residential care setting.
Or
* Alternatively hold a relevant qualification with 4 years' full time work experience in a children's residential care setting post qualification.
* A professional qualification in Social Work is also considered as suitable, for a centre manager with the requisite 4 years post qualification practice experience and hold or be enrolled in a programme leading to a management qualification suitable for a health or social care setting.
* A recognised qualification in social care will include equivalent social care qualifications from other jurisdictions.
* An individual who does not hold a recognised or relevant qualification but is entered onto the CORU register of Social Care Workers and has the requisite 4 years full time work experience may be considered for a position of centre manager.
