Role Overview
The Support Engineering team provides critical production engineering support. As an Application Engineer II, you will drive resolution efforts, provide clear updates to users and team members, lead internal projects, and identify improvements to support tools to enhance operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide in-depth engineering support for incoming tickets, including troubleshooting and debugging across multiple product lines.
* Work on maintenance projects involving shell scripts, web technologies, and Java-based applications.
* Read and understand complex application code, and implement fixes to resolve issues.
* Support software deployment in staging and production environments.
* Develop operational and maintenance tools.
* Report system and support status.
* Own one or more digital products or components.
* Coordinate customer notifications and workflows to meet service level agreements.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required.
Experience with Unix systems, scripting skills in modern programming languages, and at least 2 years of software development or technical support experience necessary.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with AWS, networks, and operating systems preferred.
