Job Overview

The role of Sales Director is pivotal in driving revenue growth and fostering client relationships nationwide. Key responsibilities include team leadership, commercial strategy, client engagement, and operational excellence.

This position demands strong people leadership skills, a proven track record of commercial success, and the ability to inspire high-performing sales teams. Essential qualifications include experience managing and developing sales teams, a strong commercial background, and excellent leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead, mentor, and develop a nationwide team of Business Development Managers and Account Managers
* Set clear objectives, provide ongoing coaching, and conduct regular performance reviews
* Foster a high-performance culture that values collaboration, accountability, and client success
* Support individual development plans to grow capability and retention within the team
* Own responsibility for achieving sales targets, revenue growth, and profitability across the business
* Develop and execute sales strategies to expand market share and deepen client relationships
* Work closely with senior leadership to identify new markets, opportunities, and service offerings
* Drive commercial negotiations, ensuring agreements deliver long-term value for clients and the business
* Oversee key client accounts, ensuring exceptional levels of service and satisfaction
* Represent the business at client meetings, industry events, and networking opportunities
* Provide insights and feedback to senior leadership on market trends, client needs, and competitive activity
* Ensure the team operates with strong compliance, process efficiency, and best practice
* Produce regular reporting on sales performance, pipeline, and forecasting
* Promote cross-team collaboration to maximise opportunities nationwide

Requirements:

* Proven experience managing and developing a sales team
* Strong track record of achieving sales growth and commercial targets
