Assistant Accountant
We are now seeking to hire a part‑time Assistant Accountant to support the day‑to‑day financial operations of our hotel. This role involves maintaining accurate accounting records, managing revenue processes, and assisting the Finance Team.
Key Responsibilities
Support accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger activities
Process invoices, payments, and billing accurately and on time
Assist with VAT returns and reconciliations
Perform daily cash handling and reconciliations
Monitor and follow up on outstanding accounts
Assist with monthly reporting, audits, and year‑end processes
Reconcile bank, credit card, and ledger accounts
Maintain financial records and accounting systems
Payroll processing & reconciliations
Assist with budgets, stock counts, and inventory tracking
Perform any ad‑hoc duties when required
Requirements
Strong numerical and organisational skills
High attention to detail
Experience in a similar finance role (hospitality preferred)
Proficiency in Excel and accounting systems
