We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team.
About the Role:
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in procurement, with experience in coordinating purchase orders, managing inventory, and building strong relationships with suppliers.
* Coordinate the full lifecycle of Purchase Orders (PO) from initiation to delivery.
* Monitor sales trends and use system-generated re-order reports to maintain optimal stock levels.
* Assist in preparing purchasing forecasts for short- and long-term planning.
* Collaborate with the Stock Controller and Sales Team to manage and reduce aged stock.
* Serve as the first point of contact for purchasing-related queries from suppliers and internal teams.
* Maintain strong working relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
* Contribute to supplier evaluation and relationship management efforts.
* Help ensure stock levels meet operational and commercial needs of the business.
* Participate in ongoing process improvement initiatives within the purchasing function.
* Work closely with Sales and suppliers to support high standards of customer service.
The successful candidate will play a key role in managing daily purchasing and stock control activities, supporting procurement strategies that align with broader business objectives. Minimum of 5 years' experience in a purchasing, buying, or supply chain coordination role is required. A strong understanding of procurement processes and stock control methods is also necessary. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and experience with Inventory Management Software, ERP, or WMS systems are highly desirable.
