My Client has some of the best brands in the FMCG marketplace and due to a re-structure and taking on more brands within the pharmacy space, they have created a new role for a Key Account Manager to join the Team

In this role ,You will report to a fair and experienced Head of Health and Beauty and another real sell to the role is that the full bonus is attainable. Orna the Head of the Division / your manager said " a lot of the role is down to being organised excellent communication skills are essential. As you know Denis, we have a really strong brand portfolio and as important as the external piece is getting buy in from the field sales team the focus is very much on growing sales and driving distribution."
NB- For this position you must have 1—3 years domestic Account management experience- ideally working with the pharmacy channel too- or working as an Account Executive in the pharmacy/ FMCG space.
JOB DESCRIPTION
The Key Account Manager will be focused on developing relationships with Pharmacy customers and on delivering the commercial plans across the Health & Beauty, Snacking & Beverages portfolios.
They will work closely with the Brand & Trade Marketing teams in building and executing customer business plans, including trade activation plans and promotional calendars. They will also work closely with the Business Development team in executing these plans at store level.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Development of Key Account Plans with pharmacy accounts
Growing distribution points through targeted expansion of their customer portfolio
Achievement of Forecast and Budget Revenue targets
Management of all elements of the customer Price File including full delivery of all CPIs
Delivery of Sales Forecast on time and accurately by sku.
Developing and executing Joint Business Plan’s with Key Customers.
Achievement of company NPD, Range and Distribution targets
Work in conjunction with Commercial Finance and Trade Marketing to develop promotional plans suitable to each customer while seeking to maximise profitability for the business
Initiative to learn from previous executions, and be able to adapt and optimize future plans based on these learnings
Such other tasks as from time to time are advised by your manager
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Sales and customer management experience in a retail/wholesale/pharmacy environment.
Degree in a business related area. (Relevant experience may qualify) and have a High level of commercial awareness.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills as well as Excellent relationship building & teamwork skills.
Resilience & able to work on their own initiative in a fast paced, energetic environment.
High level of IT proficiency.
