This exciting role offers a fantastic opportunity for a driven and enthusiastic professional to contribute to the success of both race-day and non-race-day events across some of Ireland's most prestigious venues. About the Role Reporting directly to the Sales & Events Manager, the Sales & Events Executive will play an integral role in growing venue sales through proactive business development, managing client accounts, and ensuring the smooth delivery of events from initial enquiry to post-event follow-up. Key Responsibilities Drive sales by identifying and securing new business opportunities. Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and accounts. Oversee the full event journey - from first enquiry through to planning, execution, and follow-up. Act as a brand ambassador for Levy Ireland at industry functions, networking events, and client showcases. Conduct market research and target strategic segments to achieve monthly sales objectives. Manage the full sales pipeline: from lead generation to pitching, negotiating, and closing deals. Keep CRM systems (Salesforce/Delphi) accurate and up to date with all client and sales activity. Work collaboratively with internal teams to align with broader business development strategies. Coordinate all aspects of event planning and delivery, ensuring a high standard of service. Liaise with operations, catering, and venue teams to guarantee smooth event execution. Handle all client communications, prepare detailed event briefs and BEOs, and manage invoicing and post-event follow-ups. Provide administrative support to the wider sales team with meticulous attention to detail. Candidate Requirements At least 2 years' experience in a proactive sales role within hospitality (venues, hotels, or agencies preferred). A solid understanding of the sales lifecycle and event management. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Highly organised with excellent planning abilities and keen attention to detail. Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with Delphi is an advantage. Diploma-level qualification in Business or Hospitality is desirable. Full, clean driving licence essential, along with a willingness to travel across multiple venues. Availability to work five days out of seven, which may include some evenings and weekends. Must currently reside in Ireland and possess the right to work in the Republic of Ireland.
